Congratulations to Our TGHA Scholarship Winners! 

Three Greenville Housing Authority residents were selected to receive the Felsie Harris Scholarship Award. Congratulations students and thank you for demonstrating integrity, an extraordinary will to succeed by furthering your education, as well as a commitment to helping others from your future success. Thank you to Nelson Rodriquez, Founder & Chairman of The Nelrod Education Fund and our Greenville Housing Authority Chairperson, Felsie Harris.

Ciorra Marbury is attending the State University of New York at Cobleskill, majoring in Animal Science. After obtaining her undergraduate degree, Ciorra plans to proceed to veterinary school.

Shanautika Simmons is attending Lander University, majoring in nursing.

Destiny Hatcher is attending Greenville Tech, where she will complete two years as a transfer student before transferring to a 4-year university to possibly major in psychology.

Duke Energy Foundation Scholarship Application

The mission of Greenville Center for Creative Arts is to enrich the cultural fabric of our community through visual arts promotion, education and inspiration. GCCA serves the visual arts needs of people of all ages, ethnic diversities, and economic circumstances in the Upstate. We believe that everyone should be able to participate in the GCCA arts community. For students in need of financial assistance, full tuition scholarships are available. The Duke Energy Foundation will generously award 3 academic scholarships to children (ages 7 – 17) and 3 scholarships to adults (ages 18+) each six-week class session. Scholarship recipients are eligible to enroll in one six-week course.

To apply for a Duke Energy Foundation Art School Scholarship please complete the application below and submit it to GCCA a minimum of 10 days before the first day of class.

 Recent Scholarship Recipients at Greenville Center for Creative Arts

CJ (age 17), Ebony (age 12), and Preston (age 8) are all recipients of the Duke Energy Foundation Scholarship and recently participated in a painting class at Greenville Center for Creative Arts. All three are residents of the Heritage community.
