Public Notice: Revised Annual Agency Plan

The Greenville Housing Authority

Section 511 of the Quality Housing & Work Responsibility Act of 1998 requires that Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) prepare a Five-Year Plan and an Annual Plan. The purpose of these plans is to provide a comprehensive guide to PHA policies, programs, operations, and strategies for meeting local housing needs and goals.
The 5-Year Plan describes the mission of the PHA and the PHA’s long-range goals and objectives for achieving its mission over the subsequent five years. The Annual Plan provides details about the PHA’s immediate operations, program participants, programs and services, the PHA’s strategy of handling operational concerns, resident concerns and needs, programs and services for the upcoming fiscal year.

The Housing Authority of the City of Greenville has revised its 5-Year Plan solely to revise Section 5.2: Goals and Objectives to include a brief statement of the agencies goals and objectives for the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).
