As HUD embarks upon its’ 5th Annual Father’s Day event, we NEED you to register your organization to host an event for Father’s Day anytime during the month of June. Together we can help “Improve the Quality of Life” for fathers, their children and their families.
We are focusing upon 5 critical resource areas for this FATHER’S Day: Health, Wealth, Education, Job Training and Corporate/Government support.
PHA’s (or Multifamily Properties) can host events anytime in the month of June and the events can be large or small.
The activities usually take place at the property but can happen at other venues. You are encouraged to work with service organizations to:
- Plan, publicize and host events
- Set up resource tables and share information with attendees
- Donate or secure resources to support events
- Offer programs that provide continuous and sustained learning environments
The HUD National Father's Day Initiative provides an opportunity to bring resources to fathers, children and mothers living in HUD assisted properties with a goal of making positive changes in their lives.
