Myrtle Beach, SC – The Greenville Housing Authority (TGHA) was awarded the 2018 Website of the Year by the Carolinas Council of Housing Redevelopment and Codes Officials (CCHRCO) during the organization’s annual conference held recently in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
CCHRCO is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to meeting the professional development needs of Housing and Community Development Agencies in North and South Carolina.
The interactive, responsive website, TGHA.net, was initially developed to create transparency for The Greenville Housing Authority and to enhance communications with residents, staff, commissioners and the community. The award-winning website provides functionality allowing TGHA to communicate immediately with stakeholders via text, email, website posts and feeds to social media.
In addition, the website features portals for residents, landlords, TGHA staff and board members for easy, digital access to applicable information. The website serves as the hub for the agency’s communications. Redesigned in 2018, the enhanced website provides improved access to information portals and features TGHA’s 80th Anniversary logo brand.
“We are honored to be recognized by our peers at CCHRCO. The enhanced TGHA website is an important tool for our agency. We utilize it to communicate with our residents, landlords, vendors, board members, staff and the Greenville community. The digital platform provides immediate access to information and reduces the amount of paper generated by our agency. The website’s positive impact has proven to be beneficial for everyone,” stated Ivory Mathews, Executive Director of The Greenville Housing Authority.
The TGHA website was developed by Brooks Jeffrey Marketing, Inc. of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Brooks Jeffrey is a full-service communications and digital design firm specializing in government website solutions for housing authorities and law enforcement throughout the United States.
